Shared Private Yoga

Shaping your practice. Privates can be individual or shared.

Individual Private Sessions provide a personalised and focused approach to your practice, tailored specifically to your goals and needs. These sessions offer a space for undivided attention and a customised experience, making them ideal for those choosing a more attuned development.

While, Shared Private Sessions offer a unique opportunity to fully engage in individual practice, harnessing the collective energy and support of a small group consisting of 2 to 3 participants can offer a sense of community. These shared sessions are available for locals only on application.

Getting it right: an ideal or priority?

Many clients arrive with a profound aspiration to "get it right". While I wholeheartedly embrace this enthusiasm and design my approach to lead you through a step-by-step journey of self-discovery the path to mastery in yoga is not about perfection, it's an ongoing process of self-awareness and self-compassion. Together, we explore and adapt to how your body can work with the nuances of each pose. From this point of origin, developing in your timing, the alignment of your body and the approach within your mind. We celebrate the small victories and cultivate patience, compassion and resilience for the inevitable challenges.

Your approach: how much importance does it play?

Altering the timing of your yoga practice can serve as a powerful catalyst for a different and more profound experience. Each of us carries a default pattern, expressed through the three Gunas (qualities of nature or characteristics) as a slow and heavy (stable) approach, a quick and impatient (vibrant) disposition, or a light and airheaded (spacious) mindset. When we transition to a more balanced and well-paced way of being, it's like rearranging the pieces of a puzzle, creating a harmonious interplay of breath, alignment, movement, and stillness within your practice. This shift introduces a fresh sense of rhythm, revitalising your practice which, in turn, radiates into various aspects of your life.

Often the conflict is resolved, the comprehension is there, and the pattern is no longer playing out, yet the body still holds the residue of the past. Becoming clear with how the body is holding and which points to focus on to begin to reframe, remap and rebuild becomes the focus.

With yoga practices meticulously tailored to your unique needs and a keen awareness of your body's responses, transformation begins to take shape in areas that seem unknown or impossible. This journey is profoundly liberating and humbling as it guides you toward a more balanced way of moving through life. The old patterns are reframed, bolstering your confidence and enabling you to tap into a more whole space within, ultimately empowering you to confront life's challenges with grace and assurance.

Exploring New Horizons and Embracing the Physical.

Yoga beckons us to expand our horizons by immersing ourselves in transformative asanas, including twists, balances, inversions, and backbends, while refining these qualities through the practice of pranayama.

Some people bring a wealth of life experiences and have cultivated profound spaces for themselves and others. When this capacity is present, the practice is a conscious journey of reuniting the physical self. This is often the case after dedicating oneself to a life's purpose which has meant compromising on physical needs in the process.

This profound work is deeply satisfying as it allows one to reconnect with the physical from a mature perspective, broadening the horizons of what one considers possible in this sphere while integrating mind, body, and spirit.

Private Yoga Options

  • This includes an initial health evaluation, an online Zoom or face-to-face session and an individually designed practice sheet. A follow-up contact to check in one week after the session gives space to observe changes or gain further support.

  • Individual Sessions - Weekly Private Sessions offer continuous support and progression. We start with the initial Private Assessment session to develop a sequence tailored to your specific needs. With ongoing sessions gradually transition into a more mindful and present practice. These sessions empower you to better comprehend how to unfold and build momentum in your practice at your pace.

    Shared Sessions - Face-to-face Shared Private Sessions are available. catering to the unique practices of each participant. These group sessions, limited to three participants, foster a sense of connection with fellow yoga practitioners and come at a lower cost per individual. Connect with me to share a session.

  • Six Months - This is a progressive, intimate, collaboration where you receive the benefit of my experience and guidance to check in and utilise over a period of 6 consecutive months.

    This package includes an initial health evaluation, then with each session, you’ll receive an email pre-session contact to check in, an entirely focused Zoom or face-to-face private yoga session and an individually designed practice. Additional pertinent material is provided to assist you in practice as needed.

    Ten Months - For those choosing a longer time frame to establish healthy patterns and ways to work with yoga, particularly for transitioning big life changes or wanting to step up in a particular way, the 10-month series of privates is a better option. Like the 6 month program in these sessions, we engage in a collaborative, client-directed pathway with clear guidance and suggestions that may enhance your experience to unfold.

    This package includes an initial health evaluation, then with each session, you’ll receive pre-session contact to check in, a fully focused Zoom or face-to-face private yoga session and an individually designed practice. Additional pertinent material is provided to assist you along the way.
